Project Actions
The intervention in favour of immigrant's social integration aims at constructing a system of complementary and intertwined services, delivered simultaneously to the individual (=improvement of qualifications and skills), the labour market (=improvement of promotion in thel labour market) and the Social Support Centers that carry out these services (= improvement of social integration mechanisms).1. Information services targeted to 3200 migrants. Services provision (information and case assessment) to 1600 migrants.
2.1. Counseling-coaching services: 7680 support counseling sessions (8 per person on average) and 1920 legal counseling sessions (2 per person on average). In total 960 people 200 of whom will be referred to the day center for mental health problems “Iasis”.
2.2. Greek language courses (certified teaching methods). 24 groups consisted of twenty people. The duration of the courses will be 100 hours for each group.
2.3. Key skills development: Group counseling sessions aiming at the development of basic skills. In total 600 people (4 sessions per person on average).
3.1. Counseling sessions with employers: Information services to 400 employers and networking with 200 employers. Further cooperation with employers and additional support counseling to 50 employers.
3.2. Supply and demand in the job market: Job-matching services provided to 1600 migrants and development of 30 work placements.
4.1. Community intervention: Organisation of 24 cultural events within the local community.
